I am Marcela Alvarez-Lazo, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, a dedicated mental health professional committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care tailored to each individual's unique needs. At my practice, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to support mental wellness and recovery.
I am a graduate of the University of Miami, where I obtained my doctorate in nursing practice and adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner certification. I am dual board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in nursing. I am also adjunct faculty at FGCU’s school of nursing.

My name is Ian Dyer, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, and I am a graduate of the University of South Alabama where I completed my Masters of Science in Nursing in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. I am licensed as an APRN in the State of Florida and board certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I currently have more than 5 years of experience in the field of psychiatric nursing in both the outpatient settings as well as in acute inpatient psychiatric services. At Courageous Living Mental Health Consultants, I provide caring, compassionate, individually based, and thoughtful evidenced-based treatment for a varity of mental health conditions in order to best promote my client’s ability to recover, flourish, and succeed.
